How I did it: Called few friends 3 days ago and get together at the Saguaro Lake, Mesa, AZ in the early morning. We brought our own breakfast and coffee. Sitting in the chair near the lake.

Hike 2 miles to the mountain and see the lake view from the top. What a nice day!

Wear soft cloth

Invite friends to come.

I have this idea for sometimes. I just don't have the guts to start this project, while I was worry about who will read this blog. I have spent so much time on my main blog at The Internet Entrepreneur Diary. Many people like me, are manage many blogs. I have at least three blogs to manage and few online business to operate. My time becomes critical to those blogs I maintain.

Few days ago, I finally decide to do it no matter what. This is like a secret project. I do not want to advertise it so much, because I want to see how this happiness project grow. I bet there are a lot of people looking for happiness, but they realize that sharing their happiness could bring them happiness too.

The idea is very simple! You send me the happy smile photos and happy story about the photos. I will post it to the blog and link back to your choice of web sites. It can be your family photos or your kid’s innocent photos that made you very happy. There is not limitation on how many story you can submit. I will post it as long as I have time.
Your happy stories will help other people re-think what they were doing in their life and find a way to make their life greater and happier.

After serious thinking where to put my travel photos, blog photos and any photos that I liked and shared, I decide to list all those photos on my new bloger blog at My Photo Blog. That blog will be my dedicated place to show my photography taste and sense.

In the past few weeks, I started getting some serious traffic from the search engine and my "The Internet Entrepreneur Diary" blog. I am also getting some traffic with extra income from the advertisement I put on my blog. It triggers me to make all my blogs somehow more useful. Since I have my photo blogs for a while, I thought it will be a great way to make it live to the public.

I love photos. Many of the photos made me very happy. It's like a kid loves candy. I am a big kid who have his digital camera with him almost 24/7.

It's been a year since I restart blogging. I have learned a lot about blogging. Recently, I started blogging with header images for every posts. It makes the post more interesting and more readable. It also help me getting a better readership. Most importantly, it make the blog more colorful.

VistaPrint will sell your credit card information regardless you like it or not.

Being a business owner, I have been using VistaPrint's wonderful business card services for years. Recently, I print another sets of business cards with their discount deals. It prompts me to join a third party program. It was described as a totally free and no obligation program, which sounds too much like the scam deal. I opt it and say NO to the program. A week later now, I saw my VISA card transaction, I saw two $14.95 charges from AP9*PASSPORTVISTA and SHOPPING ESSENTIALS.

I did a research and found others with the same issues. You can read the Ripoff Report at Report: VistaPrint - AP9*PASSPORTVISTA - AP9*PASSPORT TO FUN - SHOPPING ESSENTIALS - Vertrue and find the suggested answer to this issues.

Turns out - VistaPrint is very flexible with their customers credit card information and sold it to Vertrue, Inc. Who in turn uses it in all of their departments - each with a different name ie - PASSPORT TO FUN, PASSPORTVISTA, SHOPPING ESSENTIALS and BUSINESS MAX.

As a victim of this scam, I have learned one thing.

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! NO DO NOT REALLY MEAN NO!

Please spread the words to all your friends and let them no about this issues. I hate to say that I was happy with VistaPrint, but they pissed me off!

I am not sure how other bloggers was doing to promote their own blogs. Self-cross promotions seem to be a great way to get your blog out there fast and efficient. What do I mean by that? Take my own blog for example, I have all the links and blogroll on every blogs. They cross linked to each other to build a quality backlinks.

In the past I have post how to build quality backlinks with RSS Feed (Add blogger sitemap to Google webmaster tool and Feed to feedburner) and how to use communication to communicate with the viewers at real-time. How to use Google's free service to enhance the business operation. It has been a success case for me.

Another example of building quality backlinks with RSS Feed

I have recently post a topic about "DIY - Build quality backlinks with RSS Feed on blogger and wordpress" on my Almost a billionaire blog. It's not a secret of RSS feed. However, using RSS feed as quality backlinks building tool is a great idea. In this post, you can see there are two RSS FEED backlinks on the right sidebar. One is pointing to Fashion Jewelry Talk blog and one is pointing to Pro Fashion Jewelry Blog.

You can mouse over the links and see the actual URL. They are no-nofollow links to the site. In other words, it help the site to build quality links. Soon those links will be indexed into the major search engines. So you can expect an increase of page ranking in few weeks or months. The good thing to use RSS FEED to build your quality backlinks is that it's automatically done for you. You don't have to to add links every time you have a new post.

However, the downside is that you have to keep updating blog (Like this one), to make the blog alive. So search engines know it's a valid blog to pull more content and links into their database.

Add blogger sitemap to Google webmaster tool and Feed to feedburner

This is a test post that I hope to prove my experiment works. I am trying to add this blog sitemap to Google's webmaster tools for quicker index and also add subscription to FeedBurner. On blogger's free blog service, it use atom.xml as the sitemap, which allow people to subscribe the post. On FeedBurner, it can take the atom.xml, but you will have to put the FeedBurner RSS feed into your blogger control panel for siteFeed setting. It will use FeedBurner's link for all your post.

What's the problem with that? Well. Using feedburner's feed will allow you to track the subscription and track the click through. However, it's not supported in Google Wemaster tool.

The simple solution is to use atom.xml for your sitemap. Instead of using feeds/posts/default as the path, you just use your blog URL with /atom.xml in the Google webmaster tool as sitemap.

I will know if they will both working ok.

ANHosting datacenter migration

ANHosting finally start moving their datacenter to other location. All servers will be move between August 1st, 2007 to August 2nd, 2007. I hope this is a better move. ANHosting have been great on reacting to all this datacenter issues.

My site is currently down for two hours. The server itself runs perfectly even with 250 domains running on the same server. Every time I have problem to access my server were due to the over heating, power outage and router failure in the datacenter.

I am hoping to get zero downtime when they start the new datacenter. We will see.

How much hope do I have to give to ANHosting?

ANHosting, are you listening to your customer screaming? Do you even announce any apology to your customer after all these service issues? How much hope do you expect your customer to give that to you?

The server was up for only 3 minutes. Now it's down again. If you have problem with your Datacenter, you should react quick and move forward fast. You should not let your customer sitting in the dark and felt hopeless.

Do you know that people's business is holding in your hand? If you don't want your customer host on you site in your datacenter, please say so on your web site.

ANHosting, please do something.

ANHosting.com MidPhase.com unreachable - Suck into Hosting Hell

Where is my hosting site? The entire ANHosting.com and MidPhase.com are unreachable. I am understand that the temporary down time, but I can't even reach the hosting compnay's web site.

I tried not to believe that ANHosting sucks, but I start questioning how reliable ANHosting.com and their parent company MidPhase.com are.

Just Unreachable! Unbelievable! Unreliable! Unthinkable!

I have not had any problem for over a month until now. What' is the #8 excuse now?

Well. At the moment of this writing. The site seem to be back up online. However, with more than 10 minutes down time. It's not good at all.

ANHostingReview - Worst Day - ANHosting Down - #6, #7 excuses

Today is my worst day with ANHosting.com. It's pretty unreachable for half day. The whole ANHosting.com network is up and down. It's funny that their web site says "You won't have any trouble reaching us ... " with blank page. Their own web site is not available either. So I got no phone number to call, no online chat ... Nothing.

So what's up with ANHosting?

Attack? Temporary outage? Ah .. that sounds too familiar. With a Hack Safe logo on their web site but got attack?

Now #6, #7 excuse are well known to be true?

Well. I have not much more to say about ANHosting.com, if they are up and down like this, I will move to other hosting company.

ANHosting.com down for IP migration - A sign of new datacenter migration?

At the moment of writing this blog. My shared hosting server at ANHosting.com is down. According to the status on midphase.com. http://status.midphase.com/2007/06/14/ip-migration-2/

They are doing mass IP migration. For the past few weeks, my hosting server was up and down. I chat with their tech support, they all told me that they have plan to move to their new datacenter. They just don't have time frame. I believe this IP migration will be part of the process. They first move to new IP address for temporary. When they move to the new datacenter, they will change the IP again. This is just my guess.

It's just a little pain that they did not tell me earlier or sent me email about the migration. They just do it and post the new on their sites. My server was not even included in the list until I realize that my server is not available.

Hmm... Hope to see my site up again soon.

Now it's getting so frustrated with ANHosting.com. My hosting site was down twice in 24 hours. Another "Outage"? How many times should their customers expect to be down.

There is no announcement about the move to new datacenter, but at least ANHosting should write email to their customer and let them know something went wrong and tell customer about their improvement plan.

Now their customers are sitting in the dark and keep calling and calling without response. Should I recommend any one to host at ANHosting.com?

Definitely NO! NO! NO!

Do NOT host at ANHosting.com until they did some improvement.

Now I got answer back from them. They are having PowerOutage issues again. It will take the datacenter 20 minutes to get service back up and running. Yes. I have confirm that ANHosting is talking to switch Datacenter. Just don't know when and how soon all this issues can be resolved.
